I’m a reader, amateur naturalist, walker, writer and musician. Once a resident of the Midwest, lately I’ve been living in Arizona, and I’ll most likely wander a bit more before settling down again.
My literary influences include Dickens, Thoreau, Calvino, Lewis Carroll, Michel de Montaigne, and Sir Thomas Browne. Musically I’ve been influenced by Lester Young, Thelonious Monk, Frank Zappa, and a slew of traditional fiddlers and other musicians.
And your friends have fuller lives, from having you in them… Whether they always appreciate that at the time or no. Thanks for all the tunes, and we’re going to hold you to that threat of tortillas.
Nice work buddy!
I found your blog after stumbling across what seems like pages of deadly dull ones! Thank the Lawd!
