This morning I was reading an article at the NY Times about a masonry oven used in Eastern Asian and Middle-Eastern countries; it’s known as a tandoor. The preceding link shows one being used to bake Uzbek flatbread.

I want one of these ovens! I like to cook and I’ve long fantasized about having some sort of wood-fired oven.

But where to put it? Perhaps on that lot I own down in Hannibal — something to think about!
