I worked for a couple of years at a BP gas station in Hannibal, Missouri, on the midnight shift. At night the insects, mostly moths, would flock around the place, attracted by the lights. I took quite a few photos, all of which were lost due to a hard drive failure.

Thanks go to Joan Ryan, who saved many of these photos and mailed them to me on a USB thumb drive. Here’s one, a close-up of an Achemon moth:
